Now listen up kiddo, I work for GM and it's a pain in my ass to have boardroom meetings about pissed off customers having their cars mistreated at dealerships across the country. I could've sworn this MalibuMaxx guy said said he worked at the dealership. If not then I don't care, customers can test drive how they want. It's up to the salesman. If so, then that pisses off the parent company. You know, the company bleeding money that's trying to help out the customer...well most of the time.
If you had to deal with these retards you'd see where I'm coming from. Until then keep the childish name calling to a minimum. It hurts my feelings. Dealers have been heavily fined before by this ****. That's not going to happen this time around, but the matter isn't considered lightly.

OK SO I get ya, Im not trying to be a **** here, BUT....GM builds a car they say is all this and a bag of chips, has 265 HP, sets records for this and that..
And then you say dont drive it hard...ok
You build a car with a feature called 'no lift shift' and I quote.....'drivers will have to reprgram their brain to keep their foot
planted to the floorboard while their left foot operates the clutch and they fly thru the gears'
And you say dont drive it hard...
you brag about the massive Brembo brakes and the stopping capability...
And you say dont try them out....
You brag of its impressive track times at neuremberg..and impresive it is, how it outhandles this and that...
And then you say dont try it...
If I want to try an LT or LS cobalt I will and I will drive it accordingly as I did with this car..People want to know about hte no lift feature and how it works, so how the hell can I explain it or show it without doing it??
How can I compare the performance difference to a SC customer to upgrade to a turbo....If I dont know..?
Or how when I tell them the limited slip is worth its weight in gold in this car, how do I show them without a bit of a hard takeoff and it has no wheel spin...Im not talking dumping hte clutch from 6 grand, we all know what will happen but to demo a no lift shift to a customer should be allowed no?? You brag about the feature in the adds as do the PR guys, so?
Do I need to show them? probably, but wait Im not allowed to show you the stopping capabilities and the no lift feature till the car has over 1000km, so you buy it Sir and come back after that and we will see if it something you will like...not making sense here.
I get what your saying, and not for a minute did I 'beat' on the car, I drove it accordingly, its a performance sports car.
Maybe I sould go try the SRT, If I were to follow your rules I would NEVER consider a SS cobalt as I would NOT be allowed to try it to its potential..and I would go try a SI Civic, or SRT and take on of thiose cause Im allowed to try them out.
Im not some 16 year old who bags cars, I have drivin a few and am quite qualified to drive....
In the last week we have had our H3 torn thru the bush, a Colorado burried in behind the university, which I HAD TO USE MY PERSONAL YJ to recover....and a full size caught doing donuts in the parking lot....and yet we can do nothing, maybe GM chould make us capable of holding these idiots liable rather then bagging on their salesman.
