Nothing like taking someone's brand new $30,000 car-to-be, and doing everything the manual says NOT to do for ~ the first 1000 kilometers. "In the red almost", "hammer home second", "nice to hear under hard acceleration". That's just swell. In case you haven't read it, for roughly the first 800km it mentions to A) Not accelerated hard (particularly full throttle starts) B) Break hard C) avoid engine breaking.
Even more genius is you put the dealer name in a pic - Wood Wheaton Chevrolet Cadillac HUMMER in Prince George, BC. Luckily Prince George is a tiny interior town so most people won't have to worry about utilizing their warranty for excessive wear and oil burning.
I just may speak to the reps about this one.

sooooo Yaaaaaaaa.......I looked in the manual and did not see anywhere it said not to use a hammer to get it in to second gear..  ..
anyhow, seriously go find somehting better to do..call the reps they wre here when I drove it, had a good chat about it. What are we frickin 3 years old...'Im telling my daddy'....man oh man....and its has 265hp and weighs 2500 lbs, no matter where the throttle is it accelerates 'hard' Its all literal you ______ ( you can fill in the blanks...)
