Re: My '07 Subaru Forester "long term" review

Huh? You don't have nav but you aren't complaining?

Nice review mate. My in-laws are all Subey fans and although I don't fit in the Forester, I really like the Legacy (or Liberty as it is called locally). I drove a second hand one a few months ago and was impressed by everything except the cheap slippery tyres the dealer had put on. I was 4 wheel drifting at 40mph.

Glad to see you are still happy with the Scooby. Notice any difference since getting rear ended?

Forgot to add a +1 on GMs need for a vehicle like this. Locally, a Liberty wagon is around the 33K mark and its lightweight and good handling make a compelling argument. Considering the total lack of a manual Commodore wagon in anything less than the V8, it's a pretty attractive vehicle. I am hoping that Alpha will provide something similar, but in all likelihood, it will end up being overweight and over endowed with all the crap I don't want to have (Nav/Trizone climate/ etc. etc.)
