Re: Buick takes Aim at MKS?
The MKS is huge for a modern sedan: 204 inches long, 61.6 inches tall, and 75.9 inches wide.
The MKS is significantly larger than the Lucerne, let alone the LaCrosse - although the Lucerne actually has more cabin space, most notably 2.8 inches of extra rear seat leg room and 0.6 inches of extra front leg room.
If the new LaCrosse should benchmark anything, it should be the smaller MKZ.
[EDIT] Don't get me wrong, if the new LaCrosse can match the technological sophistication and quietness of the MKS, that's good. But benchmarking it in terms of driving experience doesn't make sense. The MKS is very big and very heavy - Buick should be trying to beat the ride comfort and match the handling of much smaller, more agile cars.
