They built a "punishment car", exactly what they said they did not want to do. This is got to be GM's biggest let down. Worse then building the Aztek, worse then killing the Impalla & Fiero & Camaro. Just ridiculous. This is the car they were pinning all their hopes on. They used the angular looking VOLT in so many marketing pieces yet they knew long ago it would never look like that. GM you have finally lost my loyalty.

As others have said, good riddance. I don't think GM could have done a better job on this car. Almost no one was sold on the Volt for its styling anyways, the promise was a car that runs 40 miles on an electric charge, that eliminates our dependance on foreign oil, and doesn't have such a big impact on the enviornment (at least directly).
As far as the styling goes, I think this is actually waaay better than the concept. The most distinctive and best elements of the design were brought over and smoothed out on the very aerodynamic surface. The lighting on this car is incredibly beautiful, as is the interior. The materials and seating look to be top-notch as well. It's very nice to see that GM is using this opportunity to change the game in ICE as well. I love the new reconfigurable gauges.
