I want something that is more compact and gets much better mileage than a Traverse or an Equinox will but I still need to haul an extra couple of people on occasion in addition to my wife, 3 kids, and I.

Then wait for the Gamma CUV. I think with the 1.4L DI turbo this small 7 seater will still get great gas mileage.

A lot of people in this thread and the other one have said they don't want the 3rd row. Good idea on making it removable as long as it folds flat also. That provides some extra room when needed. Making it optional would be good as well for those that never need the 3rd row. I obviously want the 3rd row and look forward to this vehicle. There is a good chance I'll buy one. I'm kind of hoping for an E-Flex model personally.
