GM with its name screw ups again. "Cruze" is great for America, but awful for other markets, while "Orlando" could likely appeal to overseas customers but sound fonky to Americans.
"Orlando" means "Disney" which is of course a uniquely American thang and might promote a positive image for the model in export markets.
Nevertheless, I think it's sharp-looking and has enough "Groove" styling cues to satisfy me. This, the similarly-styled Gamma crossover, the Cruze, the next Aveo and the Beat will give GM a very strong core lineup for global markets.
I'm glad to see GM finally be taking not just small cars, but
cars in general, seriously again. We may have to wait a few years but GM might actually righting its capsizing ship...
