There's no market for this car in Aus, & with Camaro shortly to go into production, I just can't see another Coupe on the horizon.
And, GM are certainly not in the position to to take any "chances" at the moment are they?---So no, I can't see it being built, at all.

Between the Camaro and the CTS Coupe, GM has absolutely no need for this car.
The only possible purpose would be
another Pontiac halo car, or as a sop for the small number of hardcore Pontiac fans. (Only ~20K GTOs/Trans Ams sold per year in the 21st century. Far less than the more expensive Corvette.)
Its an extremely attractive car, but there's nothing unique about how it would be positioned in the market, and the weak Pontiac brand would limit US sales.
