My other point is about capacity. Even with 3 shifts 350,000 units a year is pushing the limit. It isn't like Oshawa that has 2 plants that can do 500,000 units a year.

I know I am always looking for some kind of glimmering hope for my plant. Heck the way I see it we are only about 3 hours away. Think about the suppliers that can supply both plants. 1 that is UAW and the other that is IUE-CWA. UAW strikes then IUE-CWA ramps up, Or IUE-CWA strikes then UAW ramps up. I know I know I am desperate.

I am a former employee of GM Moraine Assembly. Models that I built were on the GMT 330 and GMT 360 platform. I proudly worked from Sept 28th,1998 until my effective layoff date of Sept 29th, 2008. I am permantly terminated effective Nov, 5th via Buyout. I will miss working at GM and had a great life experience. I have no ill feelings towards GM and that is why I continue to own my 1000 shares. I just wish my time at GM would have ended in better times.
