GM has a few notable increases in MPG's.

The EPA's fuel economy website has finally added most of the 2009 models to it; including 90% of GM's 2009 fleet. There are a few notable changes to the 2009 GM lineup, most for the better.
- 2009 Malibu/Aura Hybrid: 26/34
- 2009 Cobalt/G5 XFE: 25/37
- Malibu/Aura 4-Cylinder: 22/33
