Maybe so, but do you think the F-150 is light? 5,000lbs is a lot of mass for 260hp. The question is will consumers who need trucks be willing to accept less-than-impressive acceleration for decent fuel economy. I think they will, especially if they are making the switch to smaller, slower cars.
