So how did Toyota the benevolent manage to be down 11.5% adj to GM the can never get it right's 8%?

Year over year Toyota makes more cars, last year said they were #1 in production yet #2 in sales(extra cars

) then earlier this year said they were down due to a shortage in supply. How is this possible? Are they stockpiling cars to be the official car company of the apocalypse? Or are people starting to see them for what they really are; dowdy looking, average reliability(and falling) overpriced Walmart appliances?

Personally I think the pack has caught the leader and now there are better choices for the masses.
