What other factors might play into this decision?
I just cannot see GM doing another Oldsmobile.
Focusing on smaller, more economical possibly ground-breaking vehicles first? sounds great.
Merging brands? perhaps?
Rationalizing product across brands? absolutely.
Cutting a brand? sure sounds like a money loser.
