GXP will be under 30k. And its still the ONLY performance sedan with 400hp that offers a 6spd manual trans, something that Chrysler doesnt.
I dont find it too bad with the lack of 6spd manual for the GT. Take would have been very low.
Is GM gunna lose a few sales? Yeah, maybe. But there is nothing out there with a car like this that offers the power it does with a manual trans.
And if someone points out that teh Fusion gets a 6spd manual trans, then go buy a Fusion over a G8 GT.
I forgot about the 360hp Subbie performance sedan too.

Only offering in the GXP is beyond retarded....even if you only get 10% to buy one, AT LEAST IT IS OFFERED!!!! Look at GTO sales...more than 50% were sticks...

It isn't like you have to do ANYTHING SPECIAL to the damn car..oh right, that wonderful displacement on demand....give me a break...put the 6.3L in it, detune it a bit, put a 2.93 gear in the ass end and give us the GOD DAMN MANUAL TRANNY!!!
Yes, you are right, but whats the take rate on 6spd manual trans for the 5 series?
Only offering an enthusiast transmission on the enthuisast model is stupid? Yeah, the GT should get one, but why should GM spend millions to recert the L98/6spd for a few hundred sales?

Its a 6.2. So you would take a 340hp detuned G8 GT, with a lower rear numerical rear, if it came with a 6spd manual? You would get a slower, less powered, yet priced the same and probably get nailed for a gas guzzler tax, just cause it has a manual?

3% is total for all cars sold.
Im sure its higher with performance cars. Probably 30-35%.
