I'm not necessarily saying that I think Chevy should rename Cobalt "Nova," but "deserve" is kind of iffy on the name "Nova." Out of 17 years of Nova production genuine performance models were only available for 7 of them (1964-1970). And even in those 7 years how many 4 door 6 bangers were built for every early SS with a 327 or later SS396? |
As I recall, in those days, everyone had a "luxury" compact, and the Nova LN was a damn good one. At least, unlike the Dart or Valiant Special Editions, shag carpeting wasn't standard...
