What about Saab? Saab and Hummer numbers are about where Isuzu was last year. What are you going to do? Make an H4 mini-me. It would need to be rugged, luxurious and 2/3 size of a Wrangler while getting 25/30 MPG.

GM needs to focus on small/medium trucks, Transit-Connect alternative and restocking Buick, updating Cadillac. Pontiac has an identity crisis and GMC needs more crossovers. At current sales levels, Saab & Hummer are distractions. Sell them off to tater.

Too many brands and way too many dealerships. Selling Saab & Hummer, if only for a few billion will get rid of dealerships and allow management to focus on the core products. Just ask Ford who dumped about 500 dealerships and a small volume of cars to get rid of L-R, Jag & A-M.
