If there is one thing that gets this board fired up it is a union related thread.

Well the days of excessive pay are over.

At this time I don't beleive anybody has the specifics or conditions of this "contribution".

But how it was "negotiated" included actions against GM. Namely the Delta plant and Fairfax shutting down.

The UAW has to work in different ways now. Wages will not be extreme anymore. The UAW workforce will be paid less and held more accountable. **** Dauch has said publicly that he is outraged how some workers are absent up to 20%. Don't be surprised if the settlement includes actions on that issue.

BTW, the rumor is the 200 mill has a born on date. If not accepted quickly, it goes away.
