No matter what anyone tells you, a one year old car is worth a lot less even if it is still considered new.

$15,000 is a fair offer, but be prepared to negotiate up from there. I doubt the dealer will take your offer at first blush. If $15k is all you want to pay excluding taxes, title etc. then you might want to offer a bit less to give yourself some room to negotiate.
