Re: 2008 Impala LTZ
We ordered and received a 2007 3LT. this came with the 3.9L with AFM. though this engine does not have the E85 Capability.
a few weeks ago- we hit the 1 year mark- and put about 15,000 miles on the car.
She is happy as can be. The car has been trouble free. Weve gone back to the dealer 1 time- and that was because I got a coupon for a free tire rotation. Which I took advantage of.
Funny tire wear- NONE
interior squeeks and rattles- NONE
quiet ride- YES
smooth ride- YES
avy city mileage using DIC- 21
city highway combined-24-26
Best all highway DIC- 32
ONSTAR/Turn by Turn navigation- SHE LOVES IT.
does the lack of shift indicator on the bottom bother us... no.
Personally- I have the gear positions memorized. I know that if im in reverse- park is one way- and 2 positions over, its D. (I hate people who drive- stop- look down, shift, look up, stop, look down, shift, look up, etc etc)....
I have no trouble figuring out that if im going forward and in doing x miles per hour and I can hear my engine revving high.. then I must not be in the right gear.... and anyways. you look at the your dash cluster and see the gear youre in..... so im not sure why that bothers many people.....
but our Impala has been great.
Her coworkers actually like her car the best- as the vehicle to travel in to and from.... they take turns of course- but the impala is...the quietest, smoothest, most comfortable ride- and easily climbs the hills as they have said (a few have larger japanese cars with 4 cylinder engines- I guess Accords??)but they have mentioned that the car doesnt sound like its struggling up the hills like their cars do........
Very happy with the Impala.
