Either GM figures they'd never get the volume to justify the switch to NA production (as TTAC presumes), CAFE really did gut GM's product plans for Zeta in NA or a combination thereof. Basically as it stands, the G8 provides additional volume for the plant in AU as that market depends on exports to justify the investment in the VE/WM platforms to start with.
