SportAuto has yet to do a super test for the GT-R. However they did do a first drive. They were able to get a 7:50 out of the GT-R. For comparison the 911 Turbo did a 7:54 and the Z06 did a 7:49. All laps are done the same way when SportAuto tests cars.
For right now thats the best comparison anyone is going to get.

Praise the Lord- someone with some sense in this thread.
The ultimate time doesn't matter- the time that the particular driver had in RELATION to their time in other cars on the same track is what matters. Yes, different days, different conditions, etc. will also play a role, but if I go out and put up an 8:50 time in a GT-R because I don't know what I'm doing, does that mean that the GT-R is an 8:50 car at Nurburgring? Of course not.
As stated, SportAuto had the GT-R right there with the others in their testing- so I have no doubt in my mind that faster times can be achieved for the GT-R, because faster times have been ringed out for those other cars.
