I'm just curious why the Aveo was mentioned at all...I know what a manual transmission is, I have two cars equipped with them. I agree to an extent with what you're saying, I don't think sports cars in general (let alone "supercars") should be offered with anything BUT a stick. However, many of the higher-performance cars are equipped with some sort of automated manual (GT-R) or sequential manual (Veyron).

And please, out of respect for my sanity, stop saying "eNanny". You didn't coin it (I first saw the term in an Edmunds.com review) and it's not a good argument as to why one car is superior to another. If anything, more gadgets and gizmos make a car better. We aren't professional race car drivers, so 99% of the driving public couldn't handle these cars with no electronic assistance. Get behind the wheel of an LP640 with no computer-controlled electronic assitance and see how quick you wrap it around a tree. And according to your logic, the Veyron isn't a driver's car either (SMG not withstanding), because among other things, the spoiler automatically adjusts based on your speed to help keep the car from lifting off the ground. If you can't keep the car on the ground at 217 mph with no assistance, I guess you just shouldn't be driving it...leave that to the big boys like mbukukanyau
