I put a pic of my own '77 Blazer Chalet in the photo thread, post #43 1973-1987/1991 GM Trucks/SUV Picture Thread and if you don't mind a bit of bouncing around the internet, I have an explanation thread here http://www.coloradok5.com/forums/sho...62#post2201462 with an accompanying "post your sightings" thread http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227805

A general info site is here http://blazerchalet.com/ and our Chalet owners' forum is here http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/...BlazerChalets/ (Yahoo Autos Groups forums require membership - free! - to see the photos and read the messages). And, I have posts about these going in this one http://gmtrucks.org/showthread.php?t=334 and this one http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=269766 Plus you can see vintage brochure scans here http://www.tocmp.com/brochures/GMTrucks/1976/index.htm and here http://www.tocmp.com/brochures/GMTrucks/1977/index.htm

So, you could say I'm out treasure huntin' for more of these old GM factory campers..... PM me if you've seen one.
I looked at the picture of your Chalet in the other thread - very nice shape! I'm not sure I've ever seen the '77 brown/tan paint scheme in person. I've read that these aren't the easiest things to keep up. I remember when these came out, and I have the '76 Chalet and '77 Casa Grande brochures you pictured in your other thread, along with road tests in PV4 magazine, Popular Mechanics, and a Peterson's 4WD and Off-Road special road test edition. I also visit www.blazerchalet.com from time to time

I rarely ever see them anymore. The last one I saw regularly was a very rusty Chalet in '76 colors at a house on a busy road near my home, but that's been close to ten years ago. Glad you are taking such good care of yours. How's the inside?
