Man, that's horrendous!

As soon as I read the title of your post, I assumed the 2008 Impala would be rock solid and perfectly constructed because GM has decades with that platform, a decade with the engine family, and 3 years with this version of the model. Usually most quality gaffs are with new or recently redesigned models.

I'm sorry I was wrong. That gas mileage is particularly awful.
