Of course, there is none. They just tried to convince me that since they are professional car salespeople, they are the final authority on what a trade is worth.

The reason a dealer will not pay KBB or Edmunds is because they can go to the auto auction and buy cars at Black book all day long so why would they ever pay you more for your car. Now they might say that they will give you KBB or Edmunds but then you will not get as much off the price of the car your buying. It's only common sense really.
