Quick Initial review: Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons

Yesterday I took the Aura and got the POS LS2's replaced. The only All Season tire that fit the XR's rim were the F1's.

I took it out today and it snowed so the roads were a bit hazardous. The snow was the main reason I wanted to get the LS2's replaced. They couldn't hold traction even if they were glued to the road. So I got to see how well the tires handled in the snow( though light). Upon initial takeoff on to the main road which was a slight incline, the tires were itching to jerk free to spin, but never did and T/C never activated. The steering wheel does feel different when turning. I don't know if it is a good thing or not yet. The tires gripped the wet slushy roads pretty well and only gave a slight hint of going out on the curves, but held their ground without activating the ESC. Dare I might say the ride is much better then with the LS2's. They absorb the bumps better. I was expecting a harsher ride.

Overall I like the F1's. I will update this thread as I keep on driving them in dry and wet conditions to see how they stack up against the LS2's.
