As a current commuter, but a former on-campus student, I can attest to the truth of Commandment VIII. I joined a club, went to one meeting, and have yet to return. It was really boring.

About gaining weight - I gained five pounds of fat. When I saw that I gained five pounds, I promptly got rid of it. But, I got rid of five pounds, not five pounds of fat. The fat still sits on my abdomen. I have little fat anywhere else, except my butt, but that's always been there, yet it still manages to exist on my stomach. Ugh.
