Actually, since 1966...

One of the reasons Toyota kept the name? In most global markets the Corolla has consistently been one of the best selling models in its segment. (its very popular)

The 2008 Cobalt uses the following Ecotec engines...
148hp 2.2 liter Ecotec
171hp 2.4 liter VVT Ecotec
Current Optra/Lacetti
94hp 1.4 liter E-TEC II (europe)
107hp 1.6 liter E-TEC II
119hp 1.8 liter D-TEC
119hp/126hp 2.0 liter D-TEC (some markets)
I have a question about the new generation Chevy Nubira...
What engines will the Asian and European versions use?
Will the Ecotec engines like the 90hp 1.4 liter Twin Port, 115hp 1.6 liter VVT & 140hp 1.8 liter VVT replace the older E-TEC and D-TEC engines used by the current GMDAT Optra/Lacetti?
