If you know how much this suggestion i rks me. Just like
Old GM to do something like this. Slap a badge on something, tweak the engine and call it "Sport"
(ugh! uuuggghhh! I hate that moniker!) or "Touring", or "Grand Sport", "GT" etc.
The word "Sport" attached to any car is an ugly appendage, and people should stop suggesting it. It reeks of a half-baked mid-cycle effort to gin up more sales, and I wonder sometimes if it ever even works.
I hate these endless, mindless piddling "variants" of models. GM should not be focusing on that. All money should be spent on existing models making them better than the competition--rather than an extra 5hp, chrome exhaust tips, a new paint color and a "Sport" moniker.
