Yeah, it's not cool... but that's the technology game. If I find out in a few years that all my DVDs need to be replaced by Blue-Ray discs I won't be happy, but what can I do? All the companies know about the impending battle, but both are still being produced. Do I switch from DVD today and start my Blue-Ray collection? What if DVD wins out in the end?

There are 8-track and Betamax people out there who aren't happy either, but it's just a pill you have to swallow. It's unfortunate but it's the case.
