Not sure if the Taiwanese Excelle (below) has much to do with the upcoming
2008 redesign of the Lacetti (or if the sheetmetal is even compatible), if not, Mainland China could just be holding out to tool up for the new model next year. I hope that GM Daewoo and its joint ventures keep a tight grip on the progress of the Lacetti-based cars around the world and does not let some countries/regions stagnate with older designs as Opel has done in the past.
