I should also add that if you build your own PC, and plan it right it (or spend tons of money), it should last you quite a while. If you need to though, you can also upgrade certain parts. For example, I just upgraded to a dual core processor. It should extend the life of my system for quite a while. Cost me $40. You can upgrade a Dell or HP or Acer etc too, but it's usually a bit more difficult (Integrated graphics, anyone?).

That's a nice looking case I guess, but why oh why does it cost $300? I don't see anything super special about it.
