Sad day indeed, I have fond memories of the Montes from the 70s. Why Gm couldn't take a shared platform and put a modern interpetation of the 70s body on an updated chassis I will never know. It would have sold well........much better than the "Chevelle" everyone is clamoring for... Keep in mind my generation (X) remember fondly the old Montes,we were not around when the Chevelle was in production.......oh well.

I hope does not let the Monte name disappear into nothingness.......but knowing GM they probably will.........again sad very sad day.
