True, but I still don't want someone telling me what to save.
I am very comfortable with the amount of oil I use per year (which is about average), now the amount of money I spend on eating out is something I am NOT comfortable with. Restaurants are way to damn expensive.
What peeves me off is when someone on one side of the spectrum (right or left) thinks they are "morally superior" because of their way of thinking. I prefer to say, just let me use my money how I want, and leave me alone otherwise. I try to think that a lot of things we want regulated (weather to the right or to the left) should be left up[ to personal choice. The flip side is, that if someone makes a bad choice, then tough luck, they need to learn from it and move on. Which to many people sounds harsh.
