The new Hummer! So much horsepower, so many torques (potentially), so much electricity!

Although we knew that it existed before the weekend, our first chance to hear noted basketball player and Sprite enthusiast LeBron James talk about the Hummer was at last night's Super Bowl. The ad is called Revolutionaries and suggests that the Hummer, like James, will revolutionize the game.

"The real revolutionaries are the ones that change the game forever," he says. "Understanding strength is never enough. Evolving, imagining, seeing the world not as it is, but how it could be. That's how true greatness is realized. That's how you change the world."

This is also accompanied by a "behind-the-scenes" video that wasn't at all scripted, not even a little.

As you well know by now, the Hummer will be sold under the GMC brand and its electric motors will allow it to hit 60 mph in just 3 seconds, thanks to its 1,000 hp and 11,400 lb-ft of torque (kinda maybe).

Speaking to InsideEVs, a GMC spokesperson said that the Hummer would be a "one-of-kind" pickup truck, suggesting that, even beyond propulsion, the Hummer may not directly compete with the Sierra.
