Totalled 6th Gen Camaro, Maybe the First?

Grim story involving alcohol addled high speed driving and an Ann Arbor tree.

The accident occurred back in April, but the car has only recently popped up on Copart. Police say the 27-year-old driver was travelling at a high rate of speed when his 2016 Camaro SS became disengaged with the roadway and assaulted a tree.

The Camaro left Ann Arbor Trail west of Waverly, travelled 150 feet before meeting the tree east of Waverly.

It was “literally almost ripped in two” and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, said Plymouth Township Lt. Bob Antal.

Rest in Peace.
