Report: Corvette ZR1 to Run 10s in the Quarter Mile

Performance figures are slowly being leaked and a new report claims that the 2019 Corvette ZR1 will hit 134 mph in a quarter mile that it can complete in just 10.6 seconds (that’s one Toretto, for the more mathematically minded among you).

The report also claims that the ZR1 one will 100 mph in 6 seconds, and we already knew that it would hit 60 in just 2.85 seconds. Chevy reckons that it’ll be good for a top speed of 212 mph.

For context, the McLaren 570 GT, Lamborghini Aventador S, and the Ferrari FXX all have roughly similar performance figures and cost $200,000, $400,000, and $2,000,000, respectively. The ZR1 meanwhile, comes in at less than $150,000.

Power comes from a supercharged 6.2-liter supercharged LT5 V8 making 755 hp and 715 lb-ft of torque.

You can (and should) buy one already and you should also check out the excellent ZR1 page where you can hear what the car sounds like.
