GMC Teases 2018 Terrain With Floating Roof by Michael Accardi January 4, 2017January 4, 2017 Share Comments Thread Next week at the 2017 North American International Auto Show GMC will pull the sheet on the brand new 2018 Terrain. In anticipation, GMC teased a photo of the Terrain’s new floating roof on Twitter earlier today. In four days, the bar will be elevated, shattered and left behind. #GMCpic.twitter.com/hSPCGUZUsS — GMC (@ThisIsGMC) January 4, 2017 I don’t know if “the bar will be elevated, shattered and left behind,” but I do know GMI will be on hand in Detroit next week with coverage live from Cobo Hall. The 2018 Terrain will share a platform with the Chevrolet’s new Equinox and the Buick Envision; powertrains could also be shared with the potential for an array of small turbo charged engines and maybe even a diesel. Expect GM’s full array of technology like standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4G LTE Wi-Fi and a gamut of safety features to be on display.
