Chevrolet Proves the 2019 Corvette ZR1 Spits Hot Fire

Chevy promised us the 2019 Corvette ZR1 would shoot flames from its exhaust, and it does…

The bowtie brand published a video showing the ZR1 undergoing high-speed testing in which the ZR1’s 6.2-liter supercharged LT5 turns on the afterburners, pushing out a white and blue-hued flame for more than 10 seconds at wide-open-throttle.

If you’ve got $120,000 laying around you too can get your hands on the ZR1’s 755 flambéed horsepowers, 715 asphalt abusing pound-feet of twist, and 1,000 pounds of apex eating downforce when coupe and convertible ZR1s start showing up in stores next year.
