720-mile Storage Locker Z06 Up For Sale

Ever watch one of those storage locker auction shows and think that the finds are too good to be true? Well, it turns out that sometimes there really are some big finds. Like a 2009 Z06 Corvette that’s been sitting in a storage locker since it was almost brand new.

It’s a 7.0L 505 hp 2009 Z06. With 720 miles on the odometer. The seller says it’s never been registered, but that it’s not reported stolen either.

Why did it sit in a storage locker for almost a decade? We’ll probably never find out. But if you want to buy what the seller claims is the lowest mileage Z06 in the country, this is your chance.

Low mileage doesn’t mean perfect, though. Since it was sold at a storage auction, it doesn’t have a title. Depending on where you live, getting a title could be easy, or it could be nearly impossible. The Corvette also has noticeable bumper damage that the seller says was from the transporter.

If you’re looking for a deal, though, this car isn’t it. Bidding is done this evening, but is already over $57,000. That’s a lot more than the $35,000-$45,000 a low-mileage 2009 Z06 normally sells for. Is “storage locker” the next barn find?
