DETROIT – The all-new 4.3L EcoTec3 V-6 powering the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra will be the most capable standard V-6 in any full-size pickup truck – leading the segment in city fuel economy and helping customers save money through a host of fuel-saving technologies.

EcoTec3 engine technology matches Ram HFE’s 18 mpg city, while 4x4 Silverado and Sierra models achieve 17 mpg city, the best of any full-size pickup. EPA highway estimates are highly competitive: 22 mpg for 4x4 versions, and 24 mpg for 2WD... [Read More]

Today Cadillac announced a base price of $46,025 (including $925 for destination) for the all-new 2014 CTS sedan. The new CTS will go on sale this fall as the brand's official entry into the midsize luxury sedan market, complementing the year-old ATS, which is competing in the compact segment.

As rumors have suggested for years, the new CTS expands in size. The 2014 model is nearly five-inches longer than today's CTS, and interior space has grown in just about every dimension as well. The size increase positions the CTS in line with its direct competitors at BMW and Mercedes-Benz; the car is no longer a "tween"... [Read More]

Today Chevrolet announce pricing for the upcoming Holden-derived SS Sedan. The rear-wheel drive, V-8 Australian car will wear a base price of $44,470 including a $995 destination charge to ship it to the U.S.

There is nothing 'stripped' about the SS - there's only two options available on the car, a sunroof and spare tire. The lack of optional gear is the product of the SS having just about every modern amenity expected on today's vehicle, standard. Chevrolet has gone so far as to make navigation system and automatic park assist standard on the new SS.

Part of that long list of... [Read More]
